Raphaël Sandler

Raphaël Sandler is an editor and director based in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. His directorial work is largely non-fiction, often featuring family and friends. Much of his work is made up of found footage and archival material. Sources of this material include national archives, familial archives, corporate archives, and youtube. Raphaël is a founder of the Neighbourhood Film Festival, a festival held jointly in Montreal, and Philadelphia. He also hosts an 175+ episode run of a series called BPTV.

Raphaël has been a member of the Isuma Collective since 2022 and works with the team as a producer, editor and post-production supervisor.
